It’s great!!
Blogs in alphabetic order would be handy for people with more blogs.
And the possibility of writing a rule under a picture would be handy, too.
But I enjoy ScribeFire every daily.

Hmm, I hope there’s a way to turn off this pointless “sans-serif” stuff.
My biggest, biggest complaint, right after you publish something and you press F8 to make a change after that, it never assumes you’re making an edit, it always defaults to “new post” which gets really annoying after a while. You need to “x” the window, switch to “posts” (why does it default to notes?) then open the post, make your edit, and *then* it will allow an edit.
June 11th, 2009 at 10:17 am
Please make the “sans-serif” stuff optional. I really don’t want to delete your HTML code every time I start a new blog post. The font is already set in style.css for most people, which saves bandwidth. Unnecessary code, especially unnecessary “font” code, is bad for SEO too. And last I checked the “font” tag is invalid and was deprecated years ago.

Since v3.4 every new ScribeFire tab automatically contains the following html code:
Also, when using the “Blog this page” function, this code is not inserted in the new tab that’s created by this function, but in the first tab (if there is one; I always have one tab filled with links for a link list).
Are there any (ggod) reasons for this bahaviour or is this a bug? Anyways, I don’t like it ^^
FYI: I’m using ScribeFire v3.4.1 with Firefox 3.0.10 on a Ubuntu 8.10 machine.

Daniel

thanks, I just downloaded these add ons not sure what will change yet
June 12th, 2009 at 9:21 am
I just upgraded to 3.4.1 (from 3.3) on a Mac and I noticed that the change in the tabs, while looking fine, now leaves strange “Aqua” blue lines while the tabs have moved to a straight gray—is there someway to have this fixed so that the interface no longer looks disjointed?

Rightclick / ScribeFire / File Upload borked: “Please setup your FTP settings!” even though the settings are already in there. New to 3.4, still there 3.4.1

replying to #18, 19, Ferodynamics:
thanks for that lesson in how to edit published posts immediately after post, because this is the most frequent behavior on my own part. it helps to see that i am not unique in this respect. i write my note, scan it (w my eyes that is), maybe spell check, maybe revise, depending on my sense of time pressure or urgency, then publish. then i regret being hasty or have comments on my comments.
and i thought i was the only one.
so thanks.and i clicked fero… wow. a world opened before my eyes like a crumb in a cup o’tea!!
i better get my websites updated for all the secret tracking i have engendered, as well as the regular visitor.
and #35, daniel. thank you for asking. this entire system of blogging my comments on my browsing seems more difficult in exectution. but i do value scribefire for assistance.
this part though, i have many superfluous files, many links, and i usually must return because my subject field is still blank. clearly i am rather sloppy in my blogging technique. but i have been reading and pondering for many years anyway.
thanks

Hi,
Every time I close ScribeFire in mode “Source Editing” () on the end of text is added html code “” and this line is growing every time I close it.
Could you check this bug.
I’m using ScribeFire v3.4.1 with Firefox 3.5 on a Windows/Vista machine.
