REPLY.There you go sir. A firstclass reply if i may say so myself.Well….not that i think that ANYONE is ever going to read this, much less bother to make an opinion out of it.I guess thats why i dont bother to leave you a reply other then the fact i I DO LOVE SCRIBEFIRE,and i really think its a AWSOME blogging tool. If i had a product like this ten years ago, maybe a lot of things would be different for me. Like, all things i have written out of my most inner self,my soul thats been put out on paper for anyone to see, would been seen by the other more influencial people, and i could have had a much easyer more fullfilling life. And BTW:
PLS excuse my poor english and spelling..im from Norway, sorry.^^

ScribeFire ceased to login to my website / Wordpress blog url last week. Since then I’ve tried downgrading (as far back as 2.2), checking my .htaccess files and xmlrpc files and looking for clashes with WP plugins – - – to no avail.
I’ve been in contact with others who have found the same problem – bad login / pass combination – from different servers and for different blogs.
I’m a fan of ScribeFire – else I wouldn’t have gone to these lengths – can someone please help?
email shown above
Best,
Simon

I have been having the same issue as Simon Taylor. I am not able to login anymore using my usual user name and password. This started just last week and I am still not able to login. If you have any advice on how to fix this I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Amir,
Check this page. Turns out they aren’t going to support FaceBook Notes for now. They say there are time issues.

@Simon Taylor – I got that dialog box after I changed my Wordpress password. I fixed it by verifying that ScribeFire had the username and password for my Wordpress blog correct. To check this for yourself, try the following:
– Go to the “Blogs” tab in your ScribeFire window. Highlight the listed blog and click the “Edit” button at the bottom. Verify that the info on the listed blog – especially the username and password – are correct, changing as necessary. If you have more than one blog listed, repeat this check for each blog.
I did this for mine and the “Bad Login/Pass Combination” box went away. It might work for yours, too. Good Luck.
