Much better page on restarting Firefox after an update than before, thank you! I remember when I restarted after updating to 3.0 I couldn’t even find a changelog manually at that time!

Always nice to see an update to scribefire. I use it quite a lot… you guys are doing a great job! Thank you!

Hello, is the negative point is when I see my post and the viewer ScribeFire shows the template up because you have changed my template but the Scribefire continues to show the former and that’s bad because percebível exists a difference between the posts.
That’s it, moreover I am very happy. Good work!
Sorry if there are flaws, is here in Brazil, the program would legally be almost entirely in portuguese too.

Damien: Select your blog from the list in the right-hand section of ScribeFire, click Edit, and then click the button to clear the Live Preview settings. The next time you preview, ScribeFire will use your new blog template.

Been using Scribefire for a while but now when I post code, like a photo from Flickr, the are stripped when Scribefire posts it to my blog. Is it just me that this is happening to? I have the html setting and not the rich text.
Any idea what that’s happening?!
Cheers,
September 18th, 2008 at 3:28 pm
Omar: That shouldn’t be happening. What blogging platform are you using?

Wordpress 2.6.2.
My recent Wordpress upgrade seemed to go ok, but is it possible that it’s that? It was fine before the recent Scribefire update.
Thanks for the quick reply.

Yes, the restart up time for Firefox 3.0 was much quicker than from your earlier versions. And I do like the What’s New page, because I can actually see why I keep having to add new versions.

Is there a way to disable the “Publishing Options” dialog box that pops up? I’d really to just publish when I hit the publish button.
September 18th, 2008 at 5:31 pm
Thank you for adding detection for the “This should fix many of the “Invalid username/password” errors users have been experiencing.” error. I’ve only had WordPress and ScribeFire for a short time so I didn’t suffer too much from not knowing how to remedy this problem, but in scouring the web for a solution, I saw a lot of discussion of the topic without a single mention of the simple solution.
September 18th, 2008 at 5:44 pm
I sure you wish you could add typepad
September 18th, 2008 at 6:30 pm
Tnx for the main (first) bug fix. Yet, do you even consider making a “now playing” option (winamp or media player)? Or… is it possible at all… for you to do?

Thanks for restoring the white background to the composition screen. It had gone dark in my NASA Nightlaunch theme.

This is probably the best addon for Firefox ever existed. at least it is for me, I use it a lot, thank you guys, I’m your fan XD
September 18th, 2008 at 9:58 pm
Thanks for keeping the improvements coming. This is one of the best blogging tools available.
Some additional options for MySpace blogging would be nice, like setting privacy and the other stuff they let you set.
Also don’t know why I’m getting duplicates under Entries/Notes. They’re identical so it doesn’t seem like revision levels. *shrugs*
keep doing what you do!

Hi
I used to be able to use Zemanata with Scribefire, is there a reason this isn’t working for me at all anymore? I really love Scribefire and Zemanta as well. Can you help me out?
Thanks

I’m real happy with ScribeFire. Is there a way we can confirm our ad placement?
When I posted my ad code in Wordpress, part of my code shows. Is there a way to cover it other than changing the font color?
Thanks and keep up the good work.

“Fixed bug with editor background in certain themes”
Yes, I see! The text is no longer black on a dark gray background. (Using “PitchDark” 3.0.2) Thanks so much!

Verry well! ScribeFire is number 1, thanks so much!

ScribeFire is still opening up along the right side of the screen rather than at the bottom. I’ve been using it for years but suddenly I can’t use it and can’t work out why it’s decided to do this. Any idas? email me ivan.pope@gmail.com
Also get this error code on startup:
Error with request, the server sent back the following response:
“Failed to locate method (getCategories) in class (metaWeblog) at /var/usrlocal/stacksoft/tp1.50.0.31/cpan-lib/SOAP/Lite.pm line 2576, line 31.

bug – when adding a LiveJournal blog, Scribefire identified a community I belonged to and started posting to that. I had to delete that entry, remove that blog from Scribefire, delist from the community on Livejournal, then re-add that blog to Scribefire.
Otherwise everything seems to be working great. The native Myspace support is sweet, and I’m happy that this doesn’t automatically add “Powered by Scribefire” everytime there’s an update.
September 20th, 2008 at 3:31 pm
After a recent change by Wordpress, they started stripping out angle brackets from any post using (according to my husband, the in-house geek) the XML-RPC API. After updating ScribeFire, I’m still getting the same result… although I didn’t clear cache, which I’ll do now.
This is happening for other applications, not just ScribeFire – Flickr’s BlogThis, WP for iPhone, and probably ecto, although I haven’t used that since discovering ScribeFire.
Although – if you’d add a simple “Now listening” widget that would pop data about the currently playing song in iTunes, Winamp, or other player into a post, I’d like that a lot too.

Thanks.
I wonder why some basic editing features are still missing for at least Firefox on Linux.
I use Ubuntu 8.04.
1. Keyboard Tab does not invoke a level increase of list items; there is not even a toolbar button for that!!!
2. Editing toolbar is not customizable.

Great Update!!!
This addon is wonderful!!!!
Thanks!
September 22nd, 2008 at 10:32 am
Thanks for the changelog page!
I don’t use a ton of addons –nine in total– but I’d say more than half of them don’t do this after updating.

ScribeFire is one more reason I use the Firefox browser instead of any other browser. Ooops lokks like I’will have to change my mind: Justa tried to use ScribeFire for the business at hand and an annoying ScribeFire Add…(something) came up. I’ll have to check SF elsewhere to see if it’s still working,
Sorry,

I use Scribe Fire for Firefox and Scribe Fire Adds, and here are 2 tweaks I’ve been looking for:
1) Ability to change preferences so that all posts can just be saved as a draft. I like to use Scribfire to get something written on a topic as soon as I see it, but I like to log into wordpress to finalize my posts and upload my own images and such before I publish it to my site.
2) The app placement for Scribe Fire Ads needs some serious work. I think the concept is great, and once it’s been tweaked and upgraded I think the project will be a great success, but for the time being, only being able to place add sections above or below other sections is extremely frustrating. I have a theme with pre-designated Ad space, and even if the dimensions match up exactly with the currently supported Scribefire dimensions, I cannot get your ad space to line up in my ad space. For instance there is a 780×90 banner on the home page o one of my blogs: http://www.alphamantra.com but I could not for the life of me get a 780×90 Scribefire Ad inside that space.
Another add-on for Scribefire Ads would be 125×125 Ads, they are one of the most popular, if not the most popular add size on many of the most prestigious blogs (problogger.net, copyblogger, ect…)
Just my thoughts, happy with the products and can’t wait to see more enhancements.

Great program for blogging usage. I
I found that each time I press publish to my blog (blogger), the publishing will end up scheduled in blogger. Why is that so?
However, when I publish from home, I can see the post immediately from my blog.
