I'm having trouble entering my wordpress.org blog into ScribeFire, even though my login/password are correct. How can I fix this?
There are two possible ways to handle this issue, depending on the nature of the problem:
1. When entering a Wordpress.org blog, instead of clicking the "Next >" you may be clicking "Configure Manually". Then, from the list, the most common choice is "Wordpress.com". Since you are actually using your own install of wordpress (.org), you actually aren't on wordpress.com and so get invalid login/password. For this case, simply adding the blog and clicking "Next" without clicking "Configure Manually," fixes the problem.
2. It seems, for whatever reason, a blog may not have the XML-RPC publishing option checked and this may disturb the process. In order to turn on XML-RPC publishing, go to your Wordpress account. On the top, far right, click on the "Settings" option, followed by "Writing," (from among top left options). Scroll down to find "XML-RPC Publishing," and check the box that says "Enable the WordPress, Movable Type, MetaWeblog and Blogger XML-RPC publishing protocols."

What is an error500? What can I do about it?
When an error 500 page appears, we suggest to clear your cookies and re-open your browser. An error 500 is a 'catch-all' error generated by the Web server. It means that something has gone wrong, but the server can not be more specific about the error. If after clearing your cookies, the problem persists, contact us.

ScribeFire QuickAds FAQS
How do I create and post an ad?
There are two ways to post an ad using ScribeFire QuickAds:
1.With the simplicity of ScribeFire QuickAds Plug-In, (in your browser) you'll never need to know what an "ad tag" is again! Just click the "$" tab on your ScribeFire blog editor, click on the ad size you’d like to use for your ad campaign and position the ad in the desired location on your site, by clicking on that location. You will then be prompted as to where and whether you would in fact like to post your ad. Once confirmed, your ad is then posted successfully and the campaign is saved within your SF account for future viewing/editing!
2. If you are of the more traditional nature, login to your account at www.scribefire.com and click on the “Create Ad” tab. From there you will be able to choose what type of ad you’d like to serve, what size, etc and an ad code will be provided. You must then copy and paste that code into your site!

If I’m using the ad code from within my account, how do I place it into my site?
The answer to this question varies based on which ever blog hosting platform you are using and how your page is set up. Our best advice to you is for you to contact your blog platform.
If you are already familiar with placing ads, then this code is placed much in the same way.

What are Intext ads? And how can I set them up?
Intext ads are Advertisements using text-based hyperlinks. These ads will appear within the content area of your page in the form of double underlined keywords. When hovered over, an advertisement will appear that matches the highlighted content!
You can set them up on your page, either by going to your “Create Ad” tab in your account, and in Step 3, select “InText Ad”. You will receive ad code for this campaign, and you can simply copy and paste into your site.
If you’d simply like to set up campaigns using your add-on- simply click on “Display InText Ads on this Blog” in the bottom right of the “$” tab while associating it with a banner campaign, and it will auto configure for you!

What will happen with my Google AdSense ads once I start running ScribeFire?
ScribeFire works closely with Google to supply ads to our publishers.
Have a Google Account? Great! We highly suggest that you sync up your own AdSense account with your ScribeFire account. It will ensure that your eCPM's start at whatever you typically are used to with your AdSense, and provide lift whenever and only when we can top that with better Cpm's from our other networks.
You can go ahead and do so here.
Please remember to remain within Google’s Adsense program policies (I.E. staying within the three banner per page limit making sure the content on each page isn’t violent or pornographic and there are no invalid clicks or impressions) More information about Google’s TOS can be found here.

What if I don’t have an AdSense Account? Can I still run ScribeFire?
I only have one ad tag from ScribeFire Ads. Will you use your patent pending ad technology and ad network relationships to optimize my ad space to make sure my impressions are earning me as much as possible?
Great question! Yes! Only one ad tag is required to start benefitting from our ScribeFire services. Of course, the more banners you serve, the more likely you are to make more money!
Note: If you are running Google of any kind through our banners (your own or through our House account) make sure to follow the three banner per page limit.

What ad sizes do you offer?
We serve three ad sizes: 728x90 Leaderboard, 300x250 Medium Rectangle, 160x600 Skyscraper. The reason we offer these three sizes is that they are what most advertisers demand which gives you the best chance of making the most money!
Where should I place my ads?
The areas which are most visible to your users are the most optimal for your ad placements. This includes top center, right margin, and between blog entries
How does ScribeFire QuickAds bring ad networks to my site?
Our decision engine’s predictive technology, based on historical and real-time data will scour our leading ad networks to choose the optimum, highest eCPM paying network for the ad space on your site.
What is eCPM?
It's a unit used to measure your ad revenue based on how many ad impressions you are serving. Here is the eCPM formula: eCPM = (Total Earnings / Impressions) X 1000. This is helpful in comparing the performance of your different ad units.
What does ScribeFire charge for their ScribeFire Ads service?
ScribeFire QuickAds is currently completely free of charge. We are evaluating business models that put the publisher first!
How do I get paid?
We will pay you on the 7th of every month including all of the earnings through the previous month. You have a choice of Paypal or check (you MUST choose one in order to get paid!)
Paypal is preferable to pubs because we ONLY require a minimum of $5.00 for Paypal payouts. Make sure you’ve entered your correct Paypal address!
Checks will be paid out once the publisher has reached a minimum of $25.00. Make sure your address is correct!
Remember, if you are running your own Google account synced up with ours- you will still be getting your AdSense check from Google, while the combined earnings of all the rest of our networks will come in payment from ScribeFire.

It’s past the 7th and I still haven’t been paid! Why?
There could be a number of reasons why. We will pay you on the 7th of every month for the entire previous months’ earnings via your choice of PayPal or check. However, you have to have reached the minimum of $5.00 for PayPal, and $25.00 for check.
In addition, if you have failed to specify WHICH payment method you’d like, or either the correct PayPal or physical mailing address (for checks), we will not pay you. Please make sure to fill out that information here.
If none of these are true for you- please contact us
