Image Uploads to Blogger Broken

Filed under: Announcements, ScribeFire -- Christopher Finke @ 11:48pm

We’re aware that uploading images to Blogger blogs has been broken since late Thursday night. We’re working on a fix and hope to have it up and running as soon as possible.

Thank you for letting me know, now get it fixed quick, because the scribefire is so easy to use for copy and paste and organize the files to upload easy and fast, it saves of lot of time for me. I got used on it, I will wait with patience till it is fixed.

    Hello,

Since the new build was release, I can’t put More… tag division in my posts using Scribefire. When I edit the post in Wordpress.com the post division tag works perfectly.

Can you resolve that? it’s pretty annoying….all my posts is long because I use much citations.

    Thank You

Uploading images is broken completely, at least using latest scribefire and latest firefox on linux…

When is this issue expected to be resolved? I really like this add-on for Firefox and would love to use it to post to my blogs. But I can’t do that without image uploads.

Last night was the very first time I tried using this app and I thought I was doing something wrong!

Another question, but I don’t find a contact link on your blog : what about Google Chrome?
I’m using Chrome on Linux Ubuntu Karmic since a couple of days, and I find it lighter and faster than Firefox. But, Scribefire doesn’t exist in the browser’s extensions and I really like using your extension to blog.
So, the question is : are you developping a Chrome version of your magnificient extension?

Thanks for your work (and sorry for my bad english)

    Two things:

    1. Blogger has recently implemented an Amazon Associates quick search/link/embed option directly into its composer, which is really awesome. How difficult would something like that be to set up? Scribefire can already do it with YouTube and Zemanta, so just curious.

    2. Am I missing the ‘donate’ option somewhere? I love this addon and would love to be able to support its updates and such, but I don’t see the option.

Sorry to drop this in a comment, but I couldn’t find an email address for Scribefire questions. Love the plugin on Mozilla and use it all the time (literally), but are there any plans to make a plugin for Chrome?

    Thanks,

It appears the image uploading is broken for Joomla as well.

Scribefire rocks, and I am so appreciative for the hours you put into developing it thus far. Please keep on rocking!

Blogger has added a new way of creating expandable blog posts some time ago. Meaning that just a portion shows on the blog’s default page with a “Read more” link at the bottom to see the rest of the post.

The way to do this in Blogger is to add the following line in the HTML of the post at the point where you want to truncate the post:

    See http://www.google.com/support/blogger/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=154172 for this.

I noticed that whenever I added this to the HTML using Scribefire, that part of the HTML does not make it to my post on Blogger. It seems to me that Scribefire strips that line from the post. In fact, I am thinking that all HTML comments are stripped from the post since I put in an arbitrary HTML comment in a test post and it was deleted too!

Is this really supposed to happen? Can it be fixed please?

Please create manual how I can add blogger.com account to scribe.
