This new version has introduced a problem that I haven’t had with previous versions in that, each time I open ScribeFire I receive a BAD LOGIN/PASS COMBO error most likely due to me having configured scribefire to access my personal blog. How do I fix it so this error goes away? I’ve typed in the username and password 5 times and the error won’t go away.

    Saludos

Since 3.1 there’s a 5-10 second freeze each time I open ScribeFire and after each time I submit a post. This has made it inefficient to post for me when previously it was great.

    I re-installed 3.0.1 and no more freezing.

I’ve just installed the extension and so far it looks nice. However, I have noticed three bugs:
    - I experience like nudel the 5-second freeze each time I open ScribeFire or have it make contact with the web (load posts, publish posts, etc…)
    - When I added my Blogspot blog to Scribefire, it didn’t download the draft post I had made via the web interface of Blogger.
    - When I check the blog articles via the source editor (my preferred way of working), they all end with all sorts of spurious tags related to Feedburner. My blog feed uses Feedburner, with the “Post Feed Redirect URL” option on. Could it be creating an issue with the API URL I need to give Scribefire? Is there a way around this issue?

I’ve also thought of a few features that would really help me get the most of Scribefire:
    - Make synchronisation of Notes available between different computers. If you don’t want too to do too much work on that, Maybe you should use Firefox’s bookmarks and let Foxmarks do the dirty work. Other extensions like Read It Later or Brief do this with success. It’s just an idea on the top of my head, and I don’t have the technological knowledge to know whether it’s actually achievable, so please be gentle with me ;) .
    - Work with the Zemanta people to allow your two products to work together. Together, you could create a blogging editor with no equal!

I’ve just installed Scribefire and I like it very much so far. Keep up the good work!

    Copy’n'paste images…

Doesn’t seem to work all that well. I composed a blog entry consisting of text and two screenshots which I took using printscreen and pasted them into the entry.

When I pushed publish, it asked to upload the new images, which I approved. But! After 10 minutes it still hadn’t uploaded the 170kb jpeg. I checked the path and it was ok. It’s just as if it doesn’t work when you paste images into the editor.

Very frustrating because this was one of the main reasons for installing this and not using w.blogger or similar tool.

Adding images using the button on the toolbar seems to work fine, only pasting new images into the editor field and uploading later seems to be an issue.

There seems to be an issue w/ the case of the title not being preserved.. I’m publishing to a WordPress blog I just setup and if I write “This Is Sentence Case” in the title of a post, then I see “this is sentence case” on my blog..

I am wondering if it’s possible to do Expandable Post Summaries in Scribefire. I would like to clean up my blog by having a link to a Read More which opens a new tab/window to read the rest of the post.
