Hello,

I'm getting the same login problem as mentioned above - very frustrating. I've changed the password in WP, and am able to login via the site; but obviously I'd like to use ScribeFire.

Help,

Gareth.

I am having the same bad password/login combination error. I tried Penny's fix above, but it didn't work. In my Wordpress install of 2.6.1, I already had XML/RPC checked but decided to re-add my blog to scribefire anwyay. I deleted it from SF, then re-added and when I put in my user name and password, I get back an error that says "Please Check you user name and password for errors." I know they are right since I went to WP and changed the password and then put it into SF.... same result.

Any ideas?

thanks,
c

Oh cool, I wondered where my blog post went.. thank you google..

Anyways.. in answer to my own question :)

Just in case anyone else finds updating to Wordpress 2.6.1 and crying because Scribefire stops working hehe..

Login to your Wordpress Blog..

Go to Settings -> Writing
Tick the box that says "XML-RPC" (Enable the WordPress, Movable Type, MetaWeblog and Blogger XML-RPC publishing protocols).

Then go back to Scribefire and re-add your blog.

Hiya's,

Can't get ScribeFire to work with Wordpress 2.6.1

Getting a login error when adding the blog..
Tried changing password, etc, no good..

Fantastico on Bluehost now automatically installs 2.6.1 instead of previous version too and Im too lazy to install the old version.. hoping that you put out an update or some instructions on how to fix.. maybe it's a different api for Wordpress 2.6.1?

Kind Regards,

Penny

PS.. *all hail scribefire*.. I still love u.. cos I know you'll fix this .. *hehe*

It would be great if the flicker api would allow you log into your own flickr account or search for a specific account rather than having to comb through all photos in flickr to find the photo you want. Is there any way to add this feature otherwise it's a great application.

I also can't upload photos through API.

The error message "could not acquire authorization token from Google" still apears. Why?
