I want to third (forth?) what Oe said.

I just discovered ScribeFire and it looks like I'll be using it as my main blogging tool, but the number one annoyance right now is that Ctrl+Left and Ctrl+Right (and also Ctrl+Shift+Left/Rigtht) do not work.

Ctrl+Home and Ctrl+End I also use a lot.

I can't use ScribeFire (or any text editor) without those keys.

Keep up the good work!

I appreciate all the new improvements, but it sure would be nice if Scribefire would perform a few things the way it used to. The #1 annoyance right now is that when the active preview window is displaying a link, clicking that link opens the page in the active preview window itself rather than a browser tab. This is useless, one must go to source edit, manually copy the url and paste it into a new tab. Before FF3, it worked properly. This is the most important fix I'm waiting for, it slows me down a lot.

The configurability of link formatting is great, able to make a title field, customize the blockquote - if any text is selected. But if no text is selected, it shouldn't add an empty blockquote. Scribefire used to add blockquotes only when there actually was one. It's not a huge problem, one must just manually delete the unused blockquotes in source edit.

And as others have mentioned, having back ctrl+ navigation keys in the rendered editor would be nice.

Other than those, Scribefire has been great for me. Don't go too far into extraneous add-ons for it, like this new advertising stuff, before making sure all the basic functions operate correctly.

I want to second what Oe said above. The normal Firefox edit box works for keyboard text selection and manipulation. Why not in Scribefire? I've used previous versions, but I don't think this was the behavior in those versions, was it?
