Where’s the indent/blockquote button? This seems like a great piece of software – but not if I need to post – and then go back into the blog to add blockquotes – or other simple formatting.

I am echoing what Toni said. I lost the ability to add technorati links to my blog. I run a wordpress blog on my own domain as well. It also does not work with my blogger account. Everything else seems to work great, just not the technorati links. I've emailed the developers... waiting for a response.

With the new upgrade I've once again lost my Technorati tags posting or appearing on the post (wordpress blog on my own domain). This occurred with the last upgrade too but seemed to be fixed within a short time altho it never worked as seemlessly as before. I had to be sure to have enough blank lines at the end of the post. I've checked the the settings for publishing and have auto insert technorati links on publish.

How many blogs do you see which consist solely of text? Very few in my experience. Consequently, it doesn't matter how feature-rich Scribefire is; without the ability to insert images it is about as much use as a Hummer without an engine.

I'd really like to recommend this product, but until the problem of inserting images if fixed, it is a non-starter for me.

I guess ScribeFire would be good, if I could actually get it to work. Every time I try (WordPress blog hosted on my own domain) I get "Error: Server returned an HTTP 500 status code."

The API URL for both my blogs appears to be entered properly.

arrgghh! I generally publish all of my scribefire posts to my blog as drafts since (at least in previous versions) I generally need to do some re-formatting before I actually publish. But I like using this since I can fire it up and blog about something I'm reading at that moment.

However, I didn't know about the 'bug' that I just read about the 'body not published' or whatever it is. I had 2 messages I just pulled up to edit, and discovered all of what I had typed and published as a draft was gone!!! The title remained and the beginning tag that I've not seen before is all that's in one of them, and I didn't save it as a note from what it appears.

I don't necessarily need a lot of bells & whistles, but if what I type is gonna disappear when I hit publish, I may as well use a text editor. Thankfully I've been using this tool for about a year now, so I'm not quite ready to 'jump ship'. But I'm pretty close.

First off, a great application for blogging using Firefox and other products it works with. I am using it more and more often and discovering more and more of the features of it.

But one issue with the recent upgrade - makes me wish I could easily go back down a step.

The Insert Image feature has broken. It works in HTML Mode but if I wanted to work in HTML and such I would just go to Blogger and use their editor for HTML and WYSIWYG editor. ScribeFire even while improving is having some features I make use of regularly breaking.

I know that the Image insertion is something that inadvertantly got broke with the last version... but come on guys, do some quality control testing. It shouldn't take users to tell you that you introduced a bug that broke it. You have a great product which makes it more glaring.

I also noted one flaw that was fixed... I think... Scribe fire used to auto insert the URL of the page Firefox was focused on currently when you were inserting a link. Now it auto inserts whatever link you have on your clipboard. Probably the later action is more useful, though it was a great shortcut for me with my blog. I just made sure I had Firefox focused on the tab that had the page on it and clicked "Add a Link" and there it was. Now I have to copy the address. One extra step for mankind...

Might I suggest... is there some way to have the location within the blog page being edited remembered when switching between WYSIWYG mode and HTML editing modes? It really would be handy now when the image insertion in the WYSIWYG mode is broken and I have to toggle back and forth and continually have to find within the code just where I want to insert the image.

Keep up the good work, but please work on the pre-release quality control. You're making me feel like this is a Beta.

Where's the indent/blockquote button? This seems like a great piece of software - but not if I need to post - and then go back into the blog to add blockquotes - or other simple formatting.
