I was hoping this release would fix the bug which only allows the use of “$T” etc. in the formatting settings to be used once. If I wish the page title to be inserted into the link’s title field (i.e. title=”$T”), then I can’t get it to also return the page title in the visible link text. In other words, if I use “$T” twice on that formatting tab, it properly inserts the page title once only, and inserts an actual “$T” the second time.

It would also be nice if could do blockquotes like before. That is, blockquote selected text, if any, and don’t insert empty blockquote tags if there isn’t any selected text. Any way to accomplish this?

Agam: I’ve added support for using $T/$U/$S multiple times in the template for the next release. The other part of your request is a little trickier, but I hope to get that fixed as well.

Chirs, in es_ES locale there are some strings translated in Babelzilla BUT not translated -i.e seen in Eenglish- in ScribeFire

In contextual menu (right click with mouse)
    Format…
    Insert…
    View… –> Word count

    In settings tab:
Auto-save notes IS NEW and there is no field in Babelzilla.

    BLOCKQUOTE BUG:

In “wisiwig edit mode” if you select a coupel of words from a line and click on blockquote icon, ALL line is blockquoted.
In HTML mode it only “blockquotes” (sorry) the selected text.

I know this is not usual, because you blockquote blogs, i.e. separated blocks, not words in a line, but a bug is a bug. ;-)

Insert a special character, not available at Babelzilla to be localized.

    Babelzilla es_ES up to date.

    New bugs:
Options: Posts tab. Buttons Copy URL and Copy Title don´t show es_ES locale (but text is localized)

    Editor:
Insert HTML custom tag and Divide post (insert hr class jump) don´t show graphic icon.

    And I can’t find where the “performancing.promote” …
    Someone can help me?

When you send your post to WP in ScribeFire you have clean HTML code. I mena you have easy readable code, with lines between parragraphs, like in wysiwyg edit mode.

If, after posting, you edit with WP integrated editor, the HTML view is not line separated.

Has anyone else had an issue with saving notes, closing the app and then having it revert to the original saved version when ScribeFire is re-opened?

    Extremely annoying.

    Bug: Remove formatting

Mark a part of a comment or page
ScribeFire context menu. Publish as page
    In Wysiwyg mode: Mark everything
    Push remove formating button

    A) No space after the title
    B) More missing spaces (after line breaks)
    C) Empty blockquote tag at the end (happened only once, reproducible?)

    Example from the comment above:

This is probably the most trivial thing I could request in such a good software program, but is it possible to give us the option of changing the font and size of the text we type in the ScribeFire editor window? I don’t mean the font tag that you can select from the dropdown menu (or type in manually if you know HTML); I mean the font of the text that we see as we’re typing in the editor window. I realize that the font in the editor window is the same as the default Firefox font, so maybe that’s the only way to change how our text looks.

(It’s just that the font is too big and clunky in the editor box, but if I decrease Firefox’s default font size, the text on a lot of web pages, including this one, becomes way to small. I don’t know why size 16 font appears as medium-sized on a web page but appears large, as you’d expect, in the ScribeFire editor window, but maybe that’s a Firefox problem.)

    Still having problem.

Last time I said I can’t get the QuickBlogging toolbar back after disabled it, and then I got an answer that said I can re-enable it in the “settings” tab. But I saw the checkbox of “disable ‘QuickBlogging’” (I’m not sure how to spell it as original English because it’s automatically translated to Chinese, and I mean the last checkbox) is not checked.
So I checked it and restarted Firefox, then canceled checking it and restarted again. But I didn’t see the toolbar appeared when I opened my blog. I even reinstalled ScribeFire, but it wasn’t help…

I would like to know if anyone has the same problem or can get it back easily, and how to?

With the new release my technorati tags stopped posting. I enter the tags in the option box but once published the tags are gone.

Also, what happened to the icon for the “more” function?

    Thx

Further note and question. I did find the “more” function. I also found that if I published my posting as draft the Technorati tags posted. Then I publish and the tags also publish. However, I now have 2 entries for each post in my entries history.

Thank you! I really love this tool and would like to spread the word about it. I searched for support banners and the like but couldn’t find any. So I made a simple one at Sign Generator. I hope it’s okay :) Thanks again!
