ScribeFire 1.4.4 has been released. It is compatible with Firefox 1.5 through 3.0b3.
This release includes a fix for the Blogger+Feedburner bug. Also fixed in this release is the issue wherein opening the “About ScribeFire” dialog from the status bar would make it impossible to return to the editor.
Releases from this point on are expected to occur more frequently, with more bugfixes and feature implementations. If you have a bug to report or a feature to request, create an issue at the ScribeFire Google Code project.
Update: It looks like AMO is having some post-FF3b3-release issues. If you try and access the ScribeFire page and it doesn’t load, just try again later.
Update: Fixed now; everything should load fine.

Hey great to see an update finally!Does this fix the MySpace problems at all? I haven’t been able to post to MySpace blog since the last update last year.

Fuck dudes you still havent fixed the IMAGE option..
Your wasting your time fixing all the other crap.. no one cares about that.. they want to be able to click image, browse to an image on their computer, insert it, align it, resize it and then when they hit Post THATs when it uploads not first
If you fix nothing else.. at least put in the option of wrapping text around images so that image is on left or right, top or bottom and the text wraps nicely around it

Congratulations, your tool help us a lot and it’s just getting better.
As a matter of suggestions, I think there should be a way to easily change the number of posts in the list and the blog’s names (the names which appear in ScribeFire, I mean), which I had to change in the configuration files.
(Isn’t it amazing how people can be so rude?)

I agree with Dave, though his tone was too harsh. Problem with inserting and aligning (text wrapping pics) pics has been a big shortcoming for scribefire and a range of other blog clients. I anxiously await for such feature as Dave mentioned.

I agree with Robert. Dave is very rude, but makes decent points about images. I have to manually insert a float style each time I insert an image.
The other major feature I’ve been awaiting is the ability to differentiate the post’s jump (intro and extended body). I use Typepad and have to go into Typepad once a day and reformat every ScribeFire post I’ve made that day to build in the jump (if there currently is a command to do this in ScribeFire, I am clueless.)
But all in all, love the program.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I’ll make sure that easier image formatting and upload is a part of the next release.
Danny: support for “jumps” and Wordpress’s “more” feature is planned as well.

Yeah I second that
1. You need to more tag big time..
2. You really need the option of being able to insert images,resize them, and place them left, right, top, bottom and with text wrap..so it looks better and then have it upload all at the same time as the post to avoid steps which arent needed.. im sure a developer could do this for you within a matter of days if you post it on a outsource website
