I use Joomla. Its originally a cms and not blogging software but still it offers good options for blogging. And i can certainly recommend joomla if you now a bit about design, scripting and if you want you site to look a bit better than just another wordpress blog…
To all, blogger is the best! I don’t know but I an in some mad love with it perhaps because there is Google behind it or cuz ease of use. Though I wud say, wordpress is also powerful especially the many add ons it has got to be developed for its vast amount of users and the way interates social media sites into it. Anyways, squidoo looks ugly and Hub pages quite ordinary..no offense here!
ScribeFire is an extension for the Mozilla Firefox Web Browser
that integrates with your browser to let you easily post to your blog: you can drag and drop formatted
text from pages you are browsing, take notes, and post to your blog.

I second the b2evolution comment; it’s not in the list of options, but it is a very popular platform, and I wonder why you missed it.

Drupal. It’s almost endlessly flexible, and it allows you to do almost anything, in terms of layout, etc.

I still don’t understand how to get SF to work with tagging in WP 2.3. Can anyone help? Thanks!

youtube: There’s a “Tags” box in the Categories tab on the right. Put your tags there.

Well… almost. ScribeFire does not support b2evo’s tags, it seems…
